"I'm really excited to be a part of the Seagrams Gin Live 2003 tour once again," Thomas said. "The first time around, I was the opener for Mary J. Blige's show and that was an amazing experience. To be headlining Seagrams Gin Live this time around is a thrill.
"I'm looking forward to presenting an exciting stage show for my fans across the country. I've been cooking up a performance they will not forget."
And if having Thomas give his all weren't enough, audiences will also be treated to performances from soulstress Lil' Mo and comedian Dante Carter.
In addition to some good tunes, Seagrams Gin Live will feature a "walk of fame," which is an interactive station where concertgoers are treated to a red carpet experience, including being interviewed on camera. The interviews will then be posted to the tour's Web site, seagramsginlive.com.
A portion of the proceeds from the tour will be donated to One Hundred Black Men, Inc. The group is a national, non-profit social service organization with the goal of improving the quality of life for minorities.
Already in progress, the tour runs through the end of October when it wraps in Miami.
