Music As A Weapon

Disturbed is bringing the Music As A Weapon tour back for a third installment with help from Stone Sour, Flyleaf, and Nonpoint.

The first leg of the traveling festival will launch November 15 at Dunkin' Donuts Civic Center in Providence, R.I. Seven weeks of dates are confirmed, taking the four bands through the East Coast, South and Midwest.

The trek will run through December 22, with another leg expected in the new year.

Music As A Weapon was founded by Disturbed in 2001. The 2003 edition featured Taproot and Chevelle .

Disturbed got into the festival spirit this summer as a co-headliner on Ozzfest. The band is currently finishing up a U.K. tour.

The latest Disturbed album, Ten Thousand Fists, was certified platinum shortly after its September release.

Stone Sour, which features singer Corey Taylor and guitarist James Root of Slipknot, is touring behind its sophomore album, Come What(ever) May.

Flyleaf, which toured with Stone Sour on this year's Family Values Tour, is supporting its self-titled debut. Nonpoint is readying a live CD/DVD for release in November.
