Canadian twins Tegan and Sara have announced dates for a tour in support of their upcoming release, The Con.

The tour launches in July with a pair of shows at The Belfry Arts Centre in Victoria, B.C., and features several other two night stands, including Vancouver, B.C. (July 16-17), Seattle (July 18-19), San Francisco (July 22-23), and Malibu, Calif. (July 26-27). The first leg wraps up August 7 at The Lakeshore Theater in Chicago.

The pair then heads to Europe for a series of dates including stops in Bristol, Manchester, London and Nottingham in the U.K., and Hamburg, Berlin, Cologne and Munich in Germany.

In September, they'll return to Canada for another run that will take them through the middle of October. Scheduled stops include September 21 at The MacPherson Playhouse in Victoria, B.C., September 25 at the Francis Winspear Centre in Edmonton, A.B., September 30 at The Lakeview Auditorium in Saskatoon, S.K., October 6 at Centennial Hall in London, O.N., October 12-13 at Le National in Montreal, Q.C., and October 16 at St Matthews Church in Halifax, N.S.

The Con, which is the twins' fifth studio album, is scheduled to drop July 24. The album features guest appearances by a number of artists, including Death Cab for Cutie's Jason McGerr, The Rentals' Matt Sharp and AFI's Hunter Burgan
