Dates, Dates & More Dates …

We were talking to a songwriter a while back and when we asked him where he had gone the night before, he replied, "church."

Then, after seeing the surprised looks on our faces, he told us that "church" to him was seeing a John Prine show.

And that's just another reason John Prine is often called the "songwriter's songwriter." Prine's new dates include March 7 in Memphis, March 28 in Green Bay and May 16 in Montgomery, AL.

We have a bunch of new dates for Southern Culture On The Skids. And, guess what? Almost all the new dates are in the South. Bet you didn't see that coming. New shows include February 28 in Tallahassee, March 1 in Birmingham, March 28 & 29 in Houston and April 1 - 5 in Austin. Just to show the band isn't prejudice against other geographical locations, they've slotted April 17 for Portland, OR, and April 18 & 19 for Seattle.

The new dates for Voodoo Glow Skulls are for February and March. Cities include Long Beach, San Louis Obispo, San Jose, Portland, Boise and Reno.

During the past few hours we also updated the schedules for Eric Clapton, Jonas Brothers, Alicia Keys, Tim McGraw, Foreigner, We Are Scientists, Alejandro Fernandez, ALO (Animal Liberation Orchestra), Billy Joe Royal, Asylum Street Spankers, Long Beach Short Bus, L.A. Guns, Louis XIV, French Kicks, Gary Allan, Guitar Shorty, Heart, Dokken, Blake Shelton, Ace Frehley, Testament, Melissa Ferrick plus more bands and artists than Nostradamus ever predicted.

And that wraps up another week. Have a great weekend and a fantastic Super Bowl Sunday, and we'll look for your face in our place come Monday. Goodnight!
