11:07 AM, Monday 4/7/08 Add |   |

Feist pulled off a hat-trick April 6, winning three awards during CTV's broadcast of the 2008 Juno Awards and two awards the previous evening at the Juno Gala Dinner & Awards.

The singer/songwriter, who coincidentally is from Calgary, Alberta, where the ceremony took place, picked up trophies for single of the year, album of the year, pop album of the year, artist of the year and songwriter of the year.

A total of seven awards were presented during CTV's two-hour broadcast, which featured nine performances, including Avril Lavigne, Finger Eleven, Michael Bublé, Anne Murray with Jann Arden and Sarah Brightman and a show-stopping rendition of "Sealion" by Feist.

Other winners included Bublé for Juno fan choice award; Wintersleep for new group of the year; Blue Rodeo for group of the year, adult alternative album of the year and video of the year and Paul Brandt for country recording of the year.

Another highlight of the evening was Triumph's induction into the 2008 Canadian Music Hall of Fame by singer/songwriter Tom Cochrane.

Highlights from the broadcast are available on demand on The CTV Broadband Network at Junos.CTV.ca.
