The Story So Far

Pollstar proudly presents: new listings for Coheed and Cambria, Brooks & Dunn, Ben Harper and Jackson Browne, and Brian Jonestown Massacre!

Coheed and Cambria continues to tour behind the latest chapter of its magnum opus, The Amory Wars. Upcoming dates include European stops in Berlin, Vienna and Hamburg, Germany, while new North American shows kick off May 4 at The Bamboozle Festival in East Rutherford, N.J.

Road-warriors Brooks & Dunn will launch a summer run of the Cowboy Town Tour in early May, with stops in Virginia Beach, Va.; Reno, Nev.; Coyahoga Falls, Ohio; Syracuse, N.Y., Tinley Park, Ill., and many more cities.

We love helping publicize a good cause around here, so we're extremely pleased to tell you that Ben Harper, Jackson Browne, Taj Mahal and others will join forces May 3 to raise money to help advance and preserve folk music in Southern California by headlining the Claremont Folk Music Festival.

The Committee to Keep Music Evil has unveiled a summer European run by San Francisco psychedelic-rockers Brian Jonestown Massacre. Highlights include stops in Copenhagen, Denmark; Stockholm, Sweden; Manchester, U.K.; Paris; Koln, Germany; Leeds, U.K.; London and Benicassim, Spain.

While some other publications tend to slack off on Friday, we don't believe in that around here.

So get ready for a boatload of new dates heading your way the rest of the day, including some for a certain Texas trio who may be joining a previously mentioned country duo.
