This fall, a rotating roster of 18 female artists will turn the successful tour into an all-girl road trip.
Scheduled to climb aboard the bus are Rachael Yamagata, Ingrid Michaelson, Meiko, Priscilla Ahn, Kate Havnevik, Thao Nguyen, Brooke Fraser, Samantha Crain, Alice Russell, Jaymay, Erin McCarley, Katie Herzig, Jenny Owen Youngs, Lenka, Emily Wells, Anya Marina, Holly Conlan and Catherine Feeny.
Although the presentation and point of view differs, each of the songwriters involved has a passion for lyrics, vocals and the communal female spirit.
The ladies kick off their journey October 9 at SoHo Restaurant in Santa Barbara, Calif., and will hit 34 cities before winding down in mid-November.
Stops include - where else? - Hotel Café in Hollywood, Calif. (October 10), House of Blues in Dallas (October 16), Variety Playhouse in Atlanta (October 22), 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C. (October 28), Park West in Chicago (November 5), Bluebird Theater in Denver (November 11) and Great American Music Hall in San Francisco (November 17).

In keeping with the theme of female unity and community, part of the proceeds from the tour will go to UNFLA and Amnesty International's Stop Violence Against Women Campaign.
