The Closing Bell

Just about time to turn off the lights and head on down to our favorite watering hole – the Three-Legged Promoter – where all drinks are only 25 cents as long as you pay the $5 bartender service charge. But before we check out we want to leave you with new dates for Lil’ Wayne, B.B. King, Fountains Of Wayne and Morrissey, and links to items about Lady Antebellum, Jools Holland, Britney’s first husband and the Trapp Family home.

Overnight Sensation …

We need to ask you to read the following items scheduled to post during the next 18 hours. Otherwise, our writers will come to your home at a very inconvenient time and read the items to you.

A Kinder Amy – Indigo Girl Amy Ray lines up a bunch of shows in the South and on the West Coast for early 2009 in support of her latest solo effort, Didn’t It Feel Kinder.

Quincy Jones Keynote At SXSW – The title says it all. The legendary producer at the legendary music festival.

Link-O-Rama …

Do you recall those news stories earlier this year about plans to turn the Trapp Family home, which was immortalized in “Sound Of Music,” into a hotel? Ain’t gonna happen – AFP

Remember Britney Spears' first husband? The one who was married to her for, oh, about 5 minutes? He’s going to jail – New York Daily News

The blues legend also plays Kearney, Nebraska, on April 9 at First Tier Events Center, and Salt Lake City on April 14 at Kingsbury Hall.

During the day we also updated the schedules for Melba Moore, Marky Ramone, NOFX, Lee Greenwood, Jeff & Sheri Easter, James McMurtry, Funeral For A Friend, DeVotchKa, Deerhunter, All-American Rejects, George Strait, State Radio, All-American Rejects plus thousands of bands and artists, some of which don’t even have any dates. But we updated them anyway.

That wraps up today’s adventure gathering concert data. Thank you for your support and we hope we can be of service to you tomorrow. G’night!
