Langerado Reveals Lineup

11:04 AM, Tuesday 12/9/08 Add |   |

Florida’s Langerado Music Festival is in its seventh year but for the first time will take place at Miami’s Bicentennial Park March 6-8, boasting a lineup headed by Death Cab For Cutie, Snoop Dogg, Ryan Adams, Gym Class Heroes, The Pogues and many others.

Returning Langerado veterans include Matisyahu, The Disco Biscuits, Umphrey’s McGee, Robert Randolph & The Family Band, and Michael Franti & Spearhead.

Newcomers to Langerado’s stages include Slightly Stoopid, Flogging Molly and Broken Social Scene.

Others on the lineup include Cold War Kids, The Faint, Tricky, Chromeo, Mute Math, Girl Talk, Black Kids, Café Tacuba, The Virgins and the Zac Brown Band. More bands will be announced as Langaredo approaches.

Service-charge-free tickets for the three-day fest go on sale Dec. 12 at noon at Langaredo’s Web site, Langerado.com.

Single-day tickets start at $75, with weekend passes starting at $120. VIP packages come with upgraded amenities including a daily catered buffet, merch packages, main stage viewing decks and more. Also, kids 8 and younger get in for free with paid adults.

Continuing a trend that includes Bonnaroo and the Stagecoach country music festival, a layaway plan of three equal payments over three months is available for those snapping up weekend passes.

The festival includes local arts and crafts, food vendors and a variety of family-oriented entertainment, all on some 30 acres of Miami waterfront.

To accommodate those partaking of the local nightlife, Langerado also offers late-night shows and parties throughout Miami and South Beach. More information about the after-hours bashes can be found at the Langerado Web site.
