“I’m really excited to be coming back out for another U.S. tour,” Nozuka said in a statement. “I feel so great with the way things are happening here. One of the main things I dreamed of growing up was to play in front of a large audience, and it just feels incredible to be coming back around and to be playing bigger venues for more people.”
The tour kicks off at the House Of Blues in Houston Feb. 19 and wraps up at Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach, Calif., March 25.
Additional dates include Antone’s in Austin, Texas (Feb. 20), The State Theatre in St. Petersburg, Fla. (Feb. 24); House Of Blues in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. (Feb. 26); The Handlebar in Greenville, S.C. (Feb. 28), and 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C. (March 2).
There are also dates at Rams Head On Stage in Annapolis, Md. (March 3); Theatre Of The Living Arts in Philadelphia, Pa. (March 5); House of Blues in Boston (March 7); Royal Oak Music Theatre in Royal Oak, Mich. (March 11), and Vic Theatre in Chicago (March 13).
The tour wraps up with shows at First Avenue in Minneapolis (March 16), Slowdown in Omaha, Neb. (March 17); Rialto Theatre in Tucson, Ariz. (March 20); Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles (March 21) and The Fillmore in San Francisco (March 23).
Then it’s off to sea for Nozuka as he jumps onboard John Mayer’s annual Mayercraft Carrier cruise for four shows March 27-31.
The four-day voyage sets sail from Port of San Pedro in Los Angeles and docks in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. In addition to music, the cruise includes contests, parties and theme nights. Nozuka will perform along with Mayer, O.A.R., Guster and Jessie Baylin.
“I’m not sure what to expect, but I know it will be off the hook,” Nozuka said.
