An Enchanting Isle Of Hope

11:02 AM, Tuesday 1/13/09 Add |   |

The Irish beauties of Celtic Woman are gearing up for the group’s Isle Of Hope tour, set to begin Feb. 13 and make stops in more than 70 cities through early July.

The internationally known quintet, a favorite of PBS viewers and more, will begin the trek at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minn., and visit cities including Milwaukee, Chicago, Indianapolis, Detroit, New York, Boston, Pittsburgh, Atlanta, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Houston, Seattle and Los Angeles before wrapping with a two-night stand at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colo., July 1-2.

Celtic Woman’s tour will feature the group’s renditions of Irish standards, classical favorites and contemporary hits in what’s described as its most “magical” production yet – one that will “dazzle the eye, enchant the ear and stimulate both the mind and the heart.”

In just four years, Celtic Woman has sold more than 4 million albums and DVDs, done seven U.S. tours and performed for more than 800,00 fans in addition to filming three PBS specials.
