Jets Flyover

06:01 AM, Monday 1/19/09 Add |   |

Australia’s Screaming Jets are coming to the U.S. for one show in Los Angeles. It’s free, it’s in an intimate room and it’s a red-carpet event. Translation: You can’t get in.

The Screaming Jets have been around for about two decades and have pressed 10 albums. They’ve toured with KISS, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, INXS, Soundgarden and Velvet Revolver, among others. The Feb. 3 show at the Key Club on Sunset Strip is the band’s first show in the U.S. in more than a decade.

The gig also features an all-star band comprising members of Guns N’ Roses, Train, Queens of the Stone Age and The Offspring, plus State to State, Ricky Warwick, and The Bangkok Five.

It’s free, but invite-only. A plea to be on the limited guest list can be made by e-mailing info@stockxchangemusic.com.
