Macca will launch the reborn venue April 19.

What’s the difference between The New Joint and the original Joint at the Hard Rock?

Size, for one thing. The New Joint is twice the size of the original, yet will keep the same intimacy with the furthest seat in the house only 155 feet from the stage. The New Joint also has a state-of-the-art sound system and WiFi access throughout the venue.

Other extras include a full “blogging station” for the press and 38 flat screens, bringing the action onstage up close and personal for the audience.

McCartney tickets go on sale Feb. 14 at noon at the Hard Rock, all Ticketmaster locations and Web site, and 800-745-3000.

interesting. I thought the Killers were opening the venue. We I guess it's about the opening weekend, so multiple acts can "open".
