Ozzfest Off

Posted on Friday February 13, 2009 at 09:34 AM 4 |

For those expecting an Ozzfest summer tour announcement, it isn’t happening. Ozzy Osbourne has decided to forego the live stage for work on his 10th album instead.

Osbourne is in a Los Angeles studio and has put Ozzfest “on hold” until the new album is in stores come Thanksgiving, according to a notice on Ozzy’s Web site.

The Osbourne family, however, will be “touring” the television sets with the debut of “The Osbournes: Reloaded” on Fox TV this spring.

Poor Ozzy. No amount of time and effort will make his new album any good. Not that that's the real reason Ozzfest isn't happening, but you know. Double whammy.

Maybe he can cancel Ozzfest for a Decade, spend billions of dollars on the production of the album, fire about 97 studio musicians & become the spokesman of Depends for all that studio time.

After all the effort he can call his album Japanse Communism.
