Fame And A Tour For Jeff Beck

Jeff Beck will be honored for his guitar skills and modern blues and rock contributions with an induction into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame April 4 in Cleveland.

Beck was previously recognized by the Hall of Fame, along with Eric Clapton and Jimmy Page, with the ’60s rock group, The Yardbirds.

Two days after the induction, Beck is headed out on the road for a 13-date tour across the U.S.

The tour kicks off at the Scranton Cultural Center in Scranton, Pa., April 6 with dates through a show at the Fox Theater in Oakland, Calif., April 23.

Additional dates include stops at Electric Factory in Philadelphia (April 8), House of Blues in Boston (April 13) and two nights at Park West in Chicago (April 16-17).

Beck also has an upcoming live performance DVD and BluRay disc set for release March 11. Performing This Week … Live at Ronnie Scott’s features several gigs filmed live at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club in London in 2007.

Beck’s band features Tal Wilkenfeld on bass, Vinnie Colaiuta on drums and Jason Rebello on keyboard.

    WOW,GREAT HE'S FINALLY RELEASING A LIVE DVD.I KNOW HE HATES WATCHING VIDEOS OF HIMSELF AND SAID HE'D HAVE TO BE DRUNK TO WATCH ONE.ASIDE FROM HIS GUEST APPEARANCE ON B.B. KING'S DVD THERE'S HARDLY A THING AVAILABLE EXCEPT TV SHOWS BOOTLEGGED.
