Crue Fest 2 is Mötley Crüe’s idea of a good time as the band travels across North America during the summer months bringing its special blend of music and mayhem to an amphitheatre near you.

Last year’s Crüe Fest featured Buckcherry, Papa Roach, Sixx:A.M. and Trapt. This year’s lineup won’t be announced until a big press conference scheduled for March 16. However, you won’t have to wait that long to buy tickets. The first round of pre-sale tickets goes up March 2.

Of course, fans who have already declared their undying loyalty to the Crüe get first crack at tickets. The fan club onsale fired up today. For more information on all ticket sales, visit www.cruefest2.com.

“Last year at Crüe Fest, we set out to have more fun than humans are allowed to have,” Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee said. “We succeeded beyond that. This year, we are going to top that and I guarantee we will.”

The Denver, CO Crue Fest 2 Presale info on Ticketmater said that the following artists were going to be featured...SLIPKNOT, DISTURBED, DRAGON FORCE, MASTODON, FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH, MACHINE HEAD and WALLS OF JERICHO. No mention of Motley Crue on the bill and I have not heard anything from the band on their own website if they are even playing this year's Crue Fest. They did say last summer that Crue Fest would continue each year under that name even if they were NOT playing in the lineup. So keep that in mind when you're buying your pre-sale tix!!

I dont think its Rob Zombie. He said he wasnt releasing his album until after he finished filming H2 and they just started filming that this week. Plus he isnt releasing his album until after the movie either.   Last year they said they were choosing bands by if they had any popular songs and that sort of thing like bein on the radion alot so I would say Dragonforce and Mastodon and Machine Head and Walls of Jericho are out.      Guess we will have to wait another of couple of weeks and see
