The owner of the rogue appendix was lead singer Ilya Lagutenko, who fell ill during the early morning hours of March 1, after the band had performed at the Ice Palace in St. Petersburg, Russia. Since then, the offending organ has been yanked, and Lagutenko is reported to be resting comfortably.
The shows in question are March 3 and 4 at San Francisco’s The Independent, and March 5 and 6 at The Roxy in L.A. Those shows will be rescheduled.
No so with the band’s South By Southwest appearance scheduled for later this month. Lagutenko’s appendectomy episode has forced the band to canceled that date.
