Partners in Rock: Kid Rock & Lynyrd Skynyrd

Posted on Monday March 16, 2009 at 03:03 PM 3 |

Kid Rock and Lynyrd Skynyrd are doing it again this summer: targeting major amphitheatres and fans for another blast of the “Rock And Rebels Tour.”

The co-headline tour played before sellout crowds last summer, and they’re looking to do it again this year when they kick off their travels at West Palm Beach’s Cruzan Amphitheatre on September 26.

Other dates include Tampa at Ford Amphitheatre June 27; Dallas at Superpages.com Center July 1; Indianapolis at Verizon Wireless July 11, Hershey, Penn., at Hershey Park Stadium / Star Pavilion and Wantagh, New York, at the Nikon @Jones Beach.

The list of cities also includes Atlanta (June 28), Pittsburgh (July 7), Buffalo (July 14) and Boston (July 29).

Obviously, this is the tour you wanna scream for “Free Bird.” Though jokesters in the audience might be tempted to yell for “Stairway to Heaven.”

Tickets and VIP packages are available at Live Nation’s Web site.

Went to see Skynyrd and Rock last year in Mansfield, Ma and the show was one of the best shows i have ever seen. Lynyrd was what they have clamed to be for the past 40 years pure rock -n- roll and they passed the torch down to Kid Rock. Great show and will reccomend to anyone but i will be missing it this year in exchange for Slayer and Manson coming to town.

Love Kid Rock but HATE Skynyrd.

The last time we saw Skynyrd the lead singer spent most of the time yelling at the audience "I Can't Hear You".  If he would just shut up and sing then you would hear us.

Hopefully Skynyrd will go on first so we can show up just in time for Kid Rock.
