Those of you waiting breathlessly for the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame to announce induction ceremony presenters can exhale. Eminem, Jimmy Page and Ron Wood are among those doing the honors.
The Real Slim Shady will induct Run-DMC, Jimmy Page will be there for Jeff Beck and Wood will induct Bobby Womack.
Other pairings include Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Flea inducting Metallica and Smokey Robinson will induct Little Anthony & The Imperials.
But wait! There’s more!!
The E Street Band’s rhythm section of drummer Max Weinberg and bassist Garry Tallent will induct a couple of Elvis Presley’s musicians into the “sideman” category – drummer DJ Fontana and bass-man Bill Black respectively. David Letterman’s musical sidekick, Paul Shaffer, will induct Spooner Oldham.
Sorry, Wanda Jackson fans. The Hall of Fame still hasn’t figured out who will induct the rockabilly/ country singer. Got any ideas?
