This will be the second time for All Points West, as the festival returns to Liberty State Park in Jersey City. This year’s extravaganza features more than 65 artists and bands appearing throughout the 60-acre location.

How rare is the My Bloody Valentine appearance? Let us put it this way: When was the last time My Bloody Valentine played your town? ‘Nuff said.

You want tickets? Here’s how:

Tickets go on sale Friday, April 3 at high noon East Coast time. A single-day pass costs $89 while a 3-dayer runs $199. Promoters say these prices are for a “limited time” so consider yourself warned.

Speaking of promoters, All Points West is produced by Goldenvoice / AEG Live and Liberty Event in association with the Highline Ballroom.

Like many other Goldenvoice-promoted events, festivalgoers buying 3-day tickets can opt for a layaway plan. Layaways are for online purchases only. Here are your choices:

You can pay 50 percent down and agree to have the remaining balance charged to your credit card on July 3.

You can pay 10 percent down with the remaining amounts deducted automatically on May 4, June 3 and July 3.

Both layaway plans are for 3-day festival and parking passes. A portion of the event’s proceeds will benefit the “Friends of Liberty State Park.”

Of course there’s a Web site. For more information, visit APWFestival.com.

I just hope that Tool does some standalone shows and not just festivals. I don't have the money to go to any of these festivals. Damn recession...
