Eminem’s New Video Makes A Name For Itself

08:01 AM, Wednesday 4/8/09 4 |   |

After previously insulting everyone from Christina Aguilera and Limp Bizkit to Michael Jackson, Moby and Madonna, Eminem is back in business and slamming a whole new slew of celebrities in his latest music video, “We Made You.”

The song is the first single from the rapper’s upcoming album, Relapse. The album is set for release May 19, and is Eminem’s first since 2004’s Encore. He’s currently in the studio working on Relapse 2, which is scheduled to be released sometime in the second half of the year.

The music video for “We Made You” kicks off with Eminem donning a long blond wig and cowboy hat as “Rock of Love” star Bret Michaels.

He quickly gives the stage to a Daisy Dukes-sporting, wannabe- Jessica Simpson. Other celeb parodies include Kim Kardashian, Lindsay Lohan and love interest Samantha Ronson, John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston, Elvis Presley and Britney Spears. There’s also Ellen DeGeneres and wife Portia de Rossi, Jessica Alba, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo and Spock. 50 Cent (it’s really him) makes a guest cameo.

Watch out for Sarah Palin and her amigos, a dancing polar bear and an Eskimo. And be warned there’s a gross makeout scene between Amy Winehouse and Blake Fielder-Civil. Oh, and for some reason Dustin Hoffman’s “Rain Man” character, Raymond Babbit, also shows up.

Eminem isn’t afraid to make fun of himself, admitting that he too is a product of pop culture. Old school Slim Shady is featured wearing a pink “ALF” T-shirt and hanging out with a birthday cake.

Watch the video and tell us – what do you think? Is Eminem’s new video up to par with his previous celebrity bashing creations?

The sarah palin impersonator is also in a porno by hustler called, "who's nalin plalin" where she of course, plays sarah palin.

amusing just for the kitsch factor, but it's tired.  this is the formula he always follows.  it's just more of the same.

I remember this guy when he had a perm and was called Weird Al.  Do us all a favor and HANG IT UP!  Quit polluting our airwaves with garbage and let real musicians get some airtime.
