It seems the place to be if you have a new album to promote these days is on a late night talk show. Even ultra-hip acts like Depeche Mode are getting into the act.
DM will literally shut down Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles April 23 for an outdoor nighttime performance on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”
The appearance marks the band’s first late-night gig since announcing their “Tour of the Universe” in support of the upcoming album Sounds of the Universe.
Lucky fans on the boulevard will hear several songs during the band’s set, with two broadcast on the show.
The event will take place on a custom-built stage at the corner of Hollywood and Vine.
VIP section tickets will be given away to listeners of KROQ.
