Still want more? STS9 (Sound Tribe Sector 9), Animal Collective, Band Of Horses, Of Montreal, Arctic Monkeys, Coheed and Cambria, Ben Folds, Fleet Foxes, Silversun Pickups, Kaiser Chiefs, Crystal Castles and Bon Iver are also on the bill.

In fact, there are so many artists and bands on the lineup, it’s probably best to send you straight to the Lollapalooza Web site for the complete list as it stands today. Just click here.

Tickets went on sale on March 31 even though no lineup was announced. Lollapalooza is already sold out of the $175 Early Bird 3-Day Pass, but there are still other ticket deals, including the advance 3-day pass for $190 as well as Lolla Lounge VIP passes for $850 each.

The festival is also offering private luxury cabanas, including private viewing platforms, personal servers, bar service and catering with prices depending on how many people you want in your cabana.

I thought last year's lineup was good but it was top-heavy. This year it's much deeper. A lot of really good bands. BTW, the problem with Coachella is that it's in friggin' April! Some folks (like me) have stuff like school going on then.

My problem w/Coachella was having to buy a 3 day pass.  There wasn't really anything I wanted to see on Saturday.  Other than that, Coachella was definitely a spectacle.  As for Lolapolooza, It's a nice lineup but, I could use some heavy.

This year at Coachella, our first time, was great.  We bought tickets only for the days we wanted to go.

Does Lollapalooza eventually tell you what days the artists are performing?  I know the tickets are for the whole thing, but it would help with travel plans...
