It’s called the “2-Day Saturday & Sunday” ticket. As you can probably guess by the ducat’s aptly named title, this deal gets you in for the last two days of the event – July 3 and 4.
Priced at $149.50, Rothbury’s 2-Day ticket covers on-site camping and parking, but does not include ticket fees and shipping. The Dead headline on July 4, while Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson close the festival.
The festival also announced The String Cheese Incident will headline the Friday fun.
Other bands and artists making the trek to the western side of Michigan’s lower peninsula include Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley & Nas, Gov’t Mule, G. Love & Special Sauce, Broken Social Scene, The Hold Steady, Ani DiFranco, Guster, Les Claypool and Cold War Kids.
Rothbury promises to be even greener than last year, and says it will have more cutting-edge festival implementation of green technologies.
The event is committed to produce a near zero-waste concert, and has an on-staff Greening Chief to head up all of the event’s environmentally-safe policies, such as choosing clean energy, replacing disposables with 100 percent compostables and carbon offsetting.
