Jason Mraz Unveils Summer Trek

As if touring the world isn’t enough for the 31-year-old singer / songwriter, Jason Mraz lines up a hefty string of North America dates for July and August.

Mraz will headline more than a few dates this summer – that is, when he’s not appearing as a special guest on a Dave Matthews Band date or appearing at a music festival. Called the “Gratitude Café Tour,” the game plan calls for Mraz to be joined by special guest G. Love & Special Sauce plus K’naan and Bushwalla.

Stops include Columbia, Md., July 25 at Merriweather Post Pavilion; Boston August 4-5 at BofA Pavilion; Philly August 9 at Festival Pier @ Penn’s Landing; Chicago August 13 at Charter One Pavilion; Toronto August 15 at Molson Amphitheatre; and Cleveland August 17 at Time Warner Amphitheatre.

Other stops include Atlanta (July 27); Hartford (July 31); Indianapolis (August 18) and Minneapolis (August 20).

Mraz will also appear at Montreal’s Osheaga Music and Arts Festival August 1 and San Francisco’s Outside Lands Festival August 28.

But wait, there’s more. Although the last date on the current schedule shows Mraz appearing with Dave Matthews Band in Fresno, Calif., on August 30, expect information on another leg of the Gratitude Café Tour with dates in September and October to be released shortly.

It’s been a busy year for Mraz. Already he’s played concert halls from San Diego to Tokyo to Hong Kong to London to Melbourne. Between now and his upcoming summer tour in North America Mraz will sweep through Europe, playing places such as Oslo June 22; Paris June 29-30; Amsterdam July 2 and Monte Carlo July 8.

In fact, by the time October rolls around, Mraz will have played every continent on the planet. Plus a few that are currently in development.
