Oh that Taylor Swift. Every time you think you know her, she pulls a new trick out of her oh-so-fashionable bag.

Swift, who will open tonight’s CMT Music Awards, has been working on a top-secret number with the show’s host, comedian Bill Engvall.

While details are sketchy (duh, it's top-secret!), one confirmed element of the routine is Def Leppard, Swift’s co-headliner on a recent episode of the series “Crossroads.”

Other rumors circulating in the blogosphere say the number involves the NFL and T-Pain!

“Well, the T-Pain thing, it’s not really specified what that collaboration is yet,” Swift explained. “It’s been really fun to keep that a secret, because we’ve never confirmed if it’s a performance or if it’s something else. You never know. You know, you should watch it.”

Sage advice indeed.

Speaking of T-Pain, the king of Auto-Tune is among this year’s crop of nominees for the BET Awards, joining Lil Wayne and Keri Hilson with four nods each.
Top nominees include Beyoncé and T.I., with five each.

Beyoncé is also scheduled to perform during the June 28 ceremony, along with Kanye West, Maxwell, Young Jeezy, Ne-Yo, Soulja Boy Tell ‘Em and host Jamie Foxx.
