Residents of Pomona, Calif., may want to stock up on the earplugs before August, when Tool, Linkin Park, Alice In Chains, Wolfmother and a host of other rockers descend on the city for Epicenter '09.
The August 22 event, which is being billed as “So Cal’s Rock Explosion,” will take place at the city’s Fairplex and will feature a dozen acts on multiple stages.
Others on the bill include Atmosphere, Hollywood Undead, Atreyu, Street Sweeper Social Club, Aesop Rock and Sonny, with additional acts to be added in the coming weeks.
The all day festival, which kicks off at noon, marks Linkin Park’s only North American show this year.
Tickets for the event, priced at $79.50 for general admission and $125 for VIP, go on sale June 27.
