That’s “could be” because the will dates back to 2002. If searchers examining Jackson’s legal docs discover a more recent will, that document could void out any previous wills.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the 2002 will divides the King of Pop’s estate into portions to be distributed to his mother, three children and one or more charities. Father Joe Jackson is not believed to be listed as a recipient in the will.
The Journal also reports “people familiar with the situation” claim that one or two wills have been discovered since Jackson’s death on June 25. As to the 2002 discovery, a lawyer for Jackson’s parents says the family nor its legal representation has seen the document.
Meanwhile, as Jackson’s estate undergoes further scrutiny, so does the moonwalker’s relationship with his three children. Gossip site TMZ reports that Michael Jackson was not the biological father of his three children. What’s more, the gossip site also reports Deborah Rowe, was not the biological mother of Jackson’s oldest two kids – Michael Jr. and Paris. Instead, TMZ asserts that Rowe was a surrogate mother.
Furthermore, TMZ also claims Jackson wasn’t the father of his youngest child, Prince Michael II. Jackson never identified PM II’s mother.
And if that’s not confusing enough, Jackson never legally adopted his three kids, which could lead to further legal complications if the singer wasn’t their biological dad.
