Macca Adds Another One

Posted on Thursday July 9, 2009 at 12:01 PM Add |

The tour that isn’t a tour is starting to look, well, like a tour as Paul McCartney slots August gigs in Oklahoma and Texas.

Insisting he’s not touring, McCartney has been scheduling one-offs during the last couple of months. The newest dates added to the former Beatles’ non-touring itinerary are August 18 in Tulsa at the BOK Center and August 19 at the brand-spanking-new Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

The Tulsa date is notable because it’s McCartney’s only arena appearance on his schedule. So far, Macca has scheduled shows in the great outdoors, like his multi-night run at Citi Field in New York City July 17, 18 & 21, and his two nights in Boston Aug. 5-6. Other stops include July 11 in Halifax; Aug. 1 in Landover and Aug. 15 in Atlanta.

Tickets for Tulsa and Dallas go on sale Monday, July 20 at 10:00 a.m. local time. For more information click here for the BOK Web site and here for the new Dallas Cowboys Stadium site.
