Hanson! Hellogoodbye!! Walking!!!

03:01 PM, Tuesday 7/21/09 Add |   |

Hanson and Hellogoodbye walk into the Use Your Sole Tour, scheduled for a fall run starting in late September.

What’s with all the walking? Fans who join the bands in walking a mile or more on the day of the show will help fight poverty and AIDS in Africa.

TOMS Shoes also has its paws on the cause. For each pair purchased, the company will donate a new pair to a child in need.

The tour, which also features Steel Train and Sherwood, kicks off in Hanson’s hometown of Tulsa, Okla., at Cain’s Ballroom on Sept. 30. Oct. 1 finds the tour in St. Louis at The Pageant; Oct. 2 is Kansas City at the Beaumont and Oct. 3 puts everybody in Minneapolis for a gig at First Avenue.

Dates also include Oct. 9 in Indianapolis at the Egyptian Theatre; Oct. 10 in Detroit at the Fillmore; Oct. 11-12 is Chicago at House of Blues and Oct. 14 is Boston at House of Blues.

Other cities on the routing include Baltimore, New York, Charlotte, Houston, Nashville, Denver, San Diego, Los Angeles and San Francisco. The tour’s last stop is Anaheim at the House of Blues on Nov. 11.

Fan club presales begin July 23, and general public sales begin July 25. For more information, please click here for Hanson’s official Web site or here for Hellogoodbye’s Web site.
