So last night “America’s Got Talent” turned to a virtual place to try to unearth talent. Let’s just call the results of the MySpace show, um, uneven.
It looked like things were gonna be pretty bad when the first contestant out of the gate was Jerry “El Vegas” Katz. Really? An Elvis impersonator? And one that can’t sing at that? Next!
Things were going from worse to even worse until Ishaara, a group of talented dancers from Berkeley, Calif., showed up and brought the Bollywood. Now this is more like it!
Other pleasant surprises of the evening were Matt and Anthony, Charles DeWayne, Marcus Terrell and the Serenades and Mia Boostrom, who used her second chance with the judges to win a spot in Las Vegas.
The auditions continue tonight.
