The new round of dates for The Decemberists’ A Short Fazed Hovel tour kicks off September 20 at Flynn Theater in Burlington, Vt., and will see the band crisscrossing the U.S. and Canada before wrapping up with an October 18 performance at the Treasure Island Music Festival in San Francisco.
Opening duties for the new run, which features a full performance of Hazards, will be handled by Laura Veirs & the Hall of Flames.

NPR Music will be live webcasting and broadcasting The Decemberists’ August 1 appearance at the Newport Folk Festival in Rhode Island. The band will not be performing Hazards for this show, but will play a special set just for the festival.
After wrapping their North American run in October, The Decemberists will head overseas for a pair of dates in London: November 18 at The Forum and November 19 at The Coronet Theatre.
