Free Jay-Z!

Posted on Thursday August 20, 2009 at 01:01 PM Add |

It’s not what your thinking, Hova hasn’t pulled a Bobby Brown. Samsung and AT&T are giving away tickets to a Jay-Z show in Chicago.

The show, which will take place Sept. 8 at Chicago’s House of Blues, is part of the Samsung Summer Krush concert series.

Previous shows have featured Daughtry, The Offspring, T-Pain and Dierks Bentley.

The final event in the series will take place in Los Angeles and will be announced in the coming weeks.

Ticket registration for the Jay-Z show begins August 24 at SamsungSummerKrush.com.

Speaking of Jay-Z, the superstar/music-mogul is preparing to release The Blueprint 3, the final installment in his Blueprint trilogy, on Sept. 11.

Here’s the brand new video for “Run This Town” featuring Rihanna and Kanye West. Although the track is the official lead single from Blueprint 3, another track “D.O.A. (Death of Auto-Tune)” debuted earlier this year.
