The men and women of the Los Angeles City and County Fire Department’s have had their hands full the past couple of weeks fighting wildfires like the massive Station Fire. Now that the fires are mostly contained, they’re going to get the chance to relax and enjoy some music free of charge.
Organizers of this weekend’s Sunset Strip Music Festival announced Wednesday that firefighters from the L.A. City and County F.D. will be admitted to the festival on Saturday for free.
Saturday’s party, which kicks off 2 p.m. PST, will feature approximately 40 bands on outdoor and indoor club stages, with the indoor rockin’ continuing until around 2 a.m.
Acts on the roster include Korn, Pepper, The Donnas, Fishbone, Unwritten Law, Kottonmouth Kings, Shiny Toy Guns, Shwayze, LMFAO and Ozzy Osbourne, who was honored last night at a tribute at House of Blues that kicked off the event and will shut things down on Sunday night.
