Plane Diverted After STP’s Weiland Suffers Seizure

Friday wasn’t the best of days for Scott Weiland. The Stone Temple Pilots frontman was on a commercial flight from Los Angeles to Miami when he suffered a minor seizure.

The flight crew called out to passengers for medical assistance and administered oxygen to the stricken Weiland. Weiland came to by the time the plane made an emergency landing in Dallas and was “in good spirits” according to Rolling Stone.

Weiland was traveling to Miami to launch his self-titled clothing line for English Laundry at club Mansion.

A spokesperson for the singer said he has a history of seizures.
