If you prefer your emo from the early days of the genre (you know, when Pete Wentz was still drawing on the walls with his mom’s eyeliner instead of over-applying it), you’re in for a treat. Proto-emo band Sunny Day Real Estate is right in the middle of a reunion tour.

Granted, it’s their third reunion tour, but I’m sure that doesn’t matter a bit to the fans who’ve enjoyed their music since the release of 1994’s Diary.

If you can’t get tickets or SDRE isn’t coming anywhere near you, be sure to check out NPR.org tonight. The band’s show from the 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C., will be webcast live starting at approximately 9:15 p.m. PDT.

While you won’t be hearing anything new in the set, NPR reports that SDRE’s first two albums, Diary and LP2 are featured prominently and a previously unheard song will come to light.
