Okay, so I’ll admit it’s probably a little early to start talking about Christmas specials. But since we’re going to start seeing the decorations in stores in about two weeks, I figure if you can’t beat ’em, join ’em.
First out of the gate this year is season four “American Idol” winner Carrie Underwood.
Underwood will headline her own holiday-themed, yet-to-be-titled variety special December 7 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.
During the two-hour show, the singer will debut music from her upcoming album, Play On, along with previous hits and holiday classics.
Joining Underwood for the festivities are Dolly Parton, Brad Paisley, fellow “Idol” alum David Cook and other guests who will be announced in the coming weeks.
