Got a “teenager” in your house that’s hooked on the “Twilight” saga and is anxiously awaiting the latest big screen installment, “New Moon”? (We know it’s really you, but we won’t tell.) Well while you wait for the film’s Nov. 20 opening, pull on that Goth gear and head for the nearest Hot Topic to get a fix.
The Twilight Saga: New Moon Talent Tour, which features signings and Q&A with cast members from the movie and performances by artists on the hit soundtrack, launches Nov. 6 at L.A.’s Hollywood & Highland mall.
Musical talent scheduled to be on hand for the kick off event includes Death Cab for Cutie, Band of Skulls, Sea Wolf and Anya Marina, and sitting at the signing table will Kellan Lutz, Nikki Reed, Jamie Campbell Bower, Alex Meraz, Kiowa Gordon, Ashley Greene, Peter Facinelli, Elizabeth Reaser, Chaske Spencer and Bronson Pelletier.
To gain access to the goings on, fans need to hit the Hollywood & Highland Hot Topic beginning tomorrow at 8 a.m. PST and buy a commemorative “Twilight Saga: New Moon” T-shirt which will also score them a non-transferable wristband good for admission.
The other stops on the tour (Nov. 10 in Philadelphia and Chicago, Nov. 11 in Minneapolis, Nov. 12 in Boston and Seattle, and Nov. 14 in Salt Lake City) will feature either Anya Marina or Hurricane Bells and assorted cast members.
Rolling Stone also reports that a Nov. 19 event at NYC’s Hot Topic is in the works.
