The North American dates begin April 16 with a gig at Fox Theater in Oakland, Calif., and run through an April 24 show at the 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C.
Additional dates include Riviera Theatre in Chicago (April 19), Kool Haus in Toronto (April 20) and Terminal 5 in New York (April 22).
Hot Chip will be joined on tour once again by a live drummer, as well as opening act The xx.
The British electro-pop band’s fourth album, One Life Stand, is set for release Feb. 8, 2010. The album is available for pre-order through Amazon.com now.

Before playing North America, Hot Chip play their native U.K. Feb. 12-27 followed by a one-off date in Brussels, Belgium, March 7.
The U.K. tour includes shows in Glasgow, Nottingham, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Norwich and London.
