Eagles, Fleetwood Team Up

01:43 PM, Monday 12/14/09 16 |   |

Stadiums could be in for a treat in 2010 with a monster co-bill that’s gearing up to take flight.

Sources close to Eagles and Fleetwood Mac have confirmed exclusively to Pollstar that they are routing a tour, as was previously reported to be under consideration on livedaily.com.

The bands have apparently been looking into a trek through arenas, baseball and football stadiums coast to coast.

yeah and the tickets are going to cost you about $12.99/per song. too bad no christine mcvie or don felder anymore -- well at least you get most of the key members of both groups.

Great bands but I'll pass on the old, fat & drunk audience.

best plan to save a buck: get under-face nose bleeds off craig's list day before and sneak down once show is under way.

FMac dosn't need this. Henley will piss everyone off who dosn't agree with him well before the tour even starts. Can anybody say: Felder, Meisner, Leadon.

Cheesy, carnival-like pairing! They are attempting to pair apples and oranges. I think is a much better deal for FM than it is for the Eagles. It is going to take away from their respective unique experiences.  The tickets may end up being cheaper.  But, I wonder iif they can fill 100,000-seat stadiums. They have different audiances generally speaking and the Eagles still attract some of the younger crowd.  They will not go for FM though. U2 and perhaps the Stones can fill  soccer stadiums -- not these two.

O-M-G!  This is going to be a MONSTER show!  I'm going to put my kidney up for sale on the black market NOW so I can afford the tickets to this show!  LOL...I saw FM and Eagles both front row this past summer.  Tickets were $500 each through a broker.  I can't even imagine what I'll have to pay if they're on the same bill.

To quote the great Stevie Nicks...."...I can't wait!"

All of you save your hard earned $$, and if you must, buy the video.  Somehow/someway, this will all become the Don Henley variety show.

Sounds like a good idea but realisticly its not.  Thats alot of money to see your favourite band perform half a set and then sit through another set of a band you don't really care for.  I wonder if they'll call it "The Stevie Nicks and her past lover's" tour.  After all she did sleep with Lindsey, Mick, Don and Joe.  Yikes!
