The film, directed and produced by Greg Olliver and Wes Orshoski, digs deeply into the heavy metal legend that is Lemmy, and includes interviews with Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl, Alice Cooper, Ozzy Osbourne, Slash and members of Metallica as well as pro wrestler Triple H.
What can you say about Lemmy that hasn’t already been said? The 64-year-old rocker hailed as the “godfather” of heavy metal is a living, breathing embodiment of the genre and all it represents. For those who came after Motörhead’s 1975 debut he defines heavy metal – an artist who showed others how it’s done.
And what does the star think of the flick?
“Amazing!,” Lemmy said. “See Lemmy breathe in and breath out!! See him move his fingers independently!! All singing and dancing!! Give generously!!!”
