11:01 AM, Tuesday 1/26/10 6 |   |

Megadeth + Testament + Exodus = tour. Need we say more?

But not just any tour. Megadeth is performing its 1990 classic album Rust In Peace on all dates in celebration of the 20th anniversary of one of metal’s most-loved and genre-defining efforts. Featuring tracks like “Holy Wars… The Punishment Due,” “Hangar 18,” “Take No Prisoners” and “Poison Was The Cure,” the start-to-finish treatment of the band’s fourth studio album is sure to be a 2010 must-see for concert fans loving their music loud, powerful and majestic.

The tour begins with a couple of Knitting Factory Concert House stops – March 1 at Spokane’s KF and March 2 in Boise. Medford, Ore., at the Armory is March 3, then it’s off to Canada for Edmonton at the Shaw Conference Center March 7 and Saskatoon at Prairieland Park March 8.

Other dates include March 11 in Indianapolis at Murat Egyptian Room, March 15 in Washington, D.C., at the 9:30 Club, March 16 in Baltimore at Rams Head Live! and March 21 in Atlanta at the Tabernacle. Last date is March 31 in Southern California at the Hollywood Palladium.

20th anniversary of Rust In Piece with nothing scheduled in Illinois and four in Texas!? What's up with that? Will there be more dates announced?

I know right? I think they avoided Illinois cause they just played Peoria and Sauget a couple of months ago. I went to both shows (3 weeks apart), but i want to now hear my favorite Megadeth song live -- 5 Magics!!

Yea,like I just saw 'em in Florida with Machine Head. He's getting a bit older too and you can't expect nonstop touring. He plays alot in Europe and other countries too so were gonna have to get used to missing some tours. That or making pilgrimages out yonder.
