I suppose it makes a kind of twisted sense. The latest addition to Fox News’ late-night talk show and conservative yuk-fest “Red Eye” is GWAR’s Oderus Urungus.

Oderus somehow managed to parlay a one-time guest spot into a semi-regular feature on the controversial show, which is hosted by former Maxim editor Greg Gutfeld.

“I am glad to be back,” Oderus exclaimed. “Where was I?”

Besides guests and “news coverage,” regular segments on “Red Eye,” which airs 3 a.m. EST Tuesday through Saturday, include “Annimals” (where rabid conservative pundit Ann Coulter reads pithy commentary while pictures of cuddly critters are shown), “Ab News” (a unbelievably sexist spot in which Gutfeld reads news reports over footage of various female news correspondents and radio hosts exercising) and “Today in Matthew McConaughey” (all the day’s news about the oft maligned actor).

It was interesting to see Neil Young on Conan O'Brien last week.  He performed extremely well, and at the end you could hear him faintly say to Conan, "Where will we go for new music now?"
