Latin Superstars Join Forces For Tour

03:01 PM, Wednesday 2/3/10 Add |   |

Three of Mexico’s most famous musical sons join forces as Alejandro Fernandez, Joan Sebastian and Marco Antonio Solis prep for an arena tour beginning in April in Anaheim.

Called “Los Tres Tour,” the Live Nation Entertainment-produced outing will feature each artist performing individually as well as together. The tour marks the first time the three artists have toured together.

Which, when you think of it, is long overdue. Fernandez has racked up more than a few hits singing both ranchera and pop music. Sebastian, who has won three Grammys and five Latin Grammys, has also written and produced hundreds of songs for other artists, including Fernandez as well as having a successful career of his own.

Plus, Solis is a familiar name at the top of the Latin charts, having recorded more than 20 albums as a solo act as well as the leader of famed Mexican Los Bukis.

“Los Tres Tour” begins April 10 in Anaheim at the Honda Center. The second night has the three men playing in Chula Vista, Calif., at the Cricket Wireless Amphitheatre April 11, then it’s off to San Jose for a show at the HP Pavilion April 17.

Other tour stops include Sacramento at ARCO Arena April 18; Rosemont (Chicago), Ill., at the Allstate Arena April 24; Miami at AmericanAirlines Arena May 14; Atlanta at The Arena At Gwinnett Center May 16; Houston at Toyota Center May 28 and Dallas at American Airlines Center May 30.

Tickets go on sale St. Valentine’s Day weekend beginning Friday, Feb. 12. For more information, click here for Alejandro Fernandez’s Web site, here for Joan Sebastian’s and here for Marco Antonio Solis’ hacienda on the Web.
