Barenaked Ladies Unveil U.S. Tour

08:01 AM, Friday 2/19/10 Add |   |

Is there a Barenaked Ladies concert in store for your town? You won’t know until you eyeball the updated schedule containing 18 new U.S. dates.

It’s shaping up to be a busy year for BNL. The band’s new album – All In Good Time – drops March 30, followed by the group’s Canadian tour beginning April 6 in Victoria, B.C.

The U.S. tour begins in Nashville at the Ryman Auditorium May 10. Other stops include Columbus, Ohio, at the Palace Theatre May 11; Toledo at the Zoo Amphitheatre May 14; Louisville at Palace Theatre May 15; Minneapolis at the Orpheum Theatre May 17; Boise at the Idaho Botanical Gardens May 21; Portland, Ore., at Keller Auditorium May 23 and Tulsa at the Brady Theatre June 1. Last scheduled stop is North Charleston, S.C., at the Performing Arts Center June 5.

If you haven’t seen BNL in a while, you might be somewhat surprised. Lead singer Steven Page left the band for a solo career, making the split official one year ago this month. The band’s current lineup is Ed Robertson (vocals/guitar), Jim Creeggan (vocals/bass), Kevin Hearn (keyboards/guitar/vocals) and Tyler Stewart (drums/vocals).

There are a few things you need to know about this tour.

First of all, every online ticket purchase comes with a download of the new album. How’s that for a deal?

Secondly, BNL is boasting about its “new and improved” fan club, The Ladies Room, where you can get priority access to VIP ticket packages and presales as well as exclusive content. So be sure to give it a spin.

Meanwhile, tickets for most shows are scheduled to go on sale Feb. 26. For more information, click here for the band’s Web site.
