We imagine a high-pressure boiler room setting – à la the movie “Glengarry Glen Ross” – filled with people making intensity pitches to artist managers and booking agents, with the room’s underlying ambient noise interrupted by someone slamming down the phone and shouting, “I’ve got Dave Matthews Band and Jay-Z!”
Today Bonnaroo announced Ween, Umphrey’s McGee, Brandi Carlile and The Gossip have been added to an already impressive lineup. Since festival organizers have yet to release daily performance schedules, there’s no word as to where the newly added acts fit into the grand plan, which already features, in addition to DMB and Jay-Z, Kings Of Leon, Stevie Wonder, Tenacious D, Norah Jones, The Dead Weather, The Flaming Lips among the many artists and bands making the trek to Manchester, Tenn., June 10-13.
Bonnaroo offers several different ways to purchase tickets, including general admission passes, VIP tix and “Total Access” passes as well as payment plans. For more information, click here for the Bonnaroo Music And Arts Festival Web site.
