Manager Dismisses Madonna E-mail

Madonna manager Guy Oseary took to Twitter to reject an e-mail circulating downunder that the singer was to perform 10 indoor arena shows in July.

It claimed it was her “gift to Australia” as she has not played Australia for 20 years. Oseary said, “There is no truth to any current plans for an upcoming tour."

Paul Dainty was among major promoters who said they were not aware of any plans.

The e-mail said tickets would be priced between $249 and $2,000.

Fans who paid $3,000 could meet Madonna for photo ops.

The Melbourne show at Rod Laver Arena was also to be filmed for a DVD, according to the e-mail.
