Flyleaf Flies On To More Tour Dates

08:01 AM, Thursday 3/18/10 Add |   |

U.S. fans that missed Flyleaf’s trek with Three Days Grace and Breaking Benjamin earlier this year will soon have another opportunity to catch the rock band in concert with its upcoming spring headlining tour.

After taking just two and a half weeks off the road, on Monday Flyleaf heads overseas for a U.K. tour. The round of dates kick off at the Wedgewood Rooms in Portsmouth and conclude April 1 at the O2 Academy Islington in London.

The band’s return to the states begins with two more gigs alongside Three Days Grace. On April 28 Flyleaf opens for Three Days Grace at the Bell County Expo Center in Belton, Texas., and on May 1 the two bands join KDGE 102.1 EdgeFest’s lineup at Pizza Hut Park in Frisco, Texas, along with Limp Bizkit, Deftones, 30 Seconds To Mars and Neon Trees.

Flyleaf headlining gigs include stops at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas (May 7), House of Blues in Anaheim, Calif. (May 8), Ogden Theatre in Denver (May 15), Webster Hall in New York (May 22) and the Shrine Auditorium in Billings, Mont. (June 1).

Dates are booked through the band’s June 6 slot at Live 105 BFD at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, Calif.

Presale tickets to the spring headlining shows are on sale now. Tickets go on sale to the general public on March 19 and 20.

The band will be sharing new tunes from its sophomore release, November 2009’s Memento Mori.
