We don’t know how the faux fire reports originated, but earlier today the crew at the Pollstar.com blogging desk (2,141 strong and growing!) was inundated with accounts indicating the singer’s tour bus caught fire in Germany while traveling between Munich and Berlin, citing local police as confirming the blaze.
Thankfully, Pink took matters into her own hands and squashed the fire report.
“My tour bus did NOT catch on fire,” she tweeted. “That story is so false it’s almost entertaining.”
So no fire, no damaged tour bus, no story. You can forget about that Pink item we ran earlier today.
However, that posting that went up a few hours ago about Laurie Anderson performing a concert for dogs? That’s 100 percent true and we have the pictures to prove it.
