Matt And Kim And You

11:01 AM, Thursday 6/17/10 Add |   |

Dance punk duo Matt and Kim put on the touring shoes for a coast-to-coast run beginning this fall in the Empire State.

It’s shaping up to be a great year for Matt Johnson and Kim Schifino. The pair’s third full-length album comes out this fall and so far they’ve been cherry-picking choice festival engagements like New Jersey’s Bamboozle and Southern California’s Coachella with more festival appearances on the horizon, such as Brooklyn’s Siren Music Festival, Lollapalooza in Chicago, Belgium’s Pukkelpop, Fuji Rock Festival in Japan and Austin City Limits.

First date on the tour is Sept. 15 in Syracuse, N.Y., at the Westcott Theater, followed by Sept. 16 in Cleveland at the Beachland Ballroom & Tavern and Sept. 17 in Columbus, Ohio, at Newport Music Hall. Other towns on the three-month routing include Detroit, Denver, Seattle, Portland, Vancouver, Los Angeles, Dallas, New Orleans, Atlanta, Toronto, Montreal and Boston.

Tickets go on sale June 23. For more info, click here for Matt and Kim’s website and here for the duo’s MySpace page.
